Web Hollow’s brand artwork by Mike Stoller, a graphic artist who specializes in mixed media, captures an interweaving of technology and nature that few others would be able to distill. The subtle “W” and “H” embedded in the abdomen cleverly personalize the design.

“Dabbler of the Arts, Explorer of the Natures”

With a background in paleontology and archeology, and years under his belt as a naturalist/guide and first mate in the salt marshes of South Carolina, it is no surprise that Mike’s artistic interpretation of the natural world anchors itself in realism. Whimsical shapes, colors, and flourishes mesh seamlessly with lifelike details.

The initial version of this design featured many of the same unique elements, like headphones worn by the spider and ripples reverberating out from its leg lightly dipped in the water. A cartoonish style and rounded details have been updated to bold lines and sleek geometric shapes in Spiderdude 2.0.
